With the permission of the homeowner, we decided to show how the work of a designer can transform even a banal and unattractive dwelling. Pictures, of course, will not demonstrate how many approvals and clarifications had to be made in various authorities before we found a solution to the redevelopment of the room. Flat in an unusual scandi-loft style. It very successfully combines elements of natural materials - brick, concrete wall, natural colours, with the style of Scandinavian interiors.
The owner was lucky: the space has high ceilings with an already designed ventilation system, which they decided to expose. And not just exposed, but painted in a bright colour.
The task of this project was to develop an interesting, inexpensive and unobtrusive interior to rent out to one person. It was important to calculate every centimetre of space, as the flat is very small.
A young man bought a small flat in a new building with high ceilings, which allowed him to add a floor above the bathroom and find a place for a comfortable lounge area united with the kitchen.
This 65 square metre flat is located in a five-storey building from the mid-twentieth century. Narrow, tall windows, high ceilings of 3.20 metres and a stairwell set the tone for the entire interior.
