The project was created for a French client who wanted to bring the timeless charm of Art Deco into a modern interior. Our studio was entrusted with designing only a few key rooms — a study, a living room, and two bedroom concepts — to define the overall stylistic direction for the entire home.
The design draws inspiration from the refined geometry, polished surfaces, and soft luxury that characterised the golden age of Art Deco. Lacquered wood, brass accents, and rich textiles coexist with contemporary minimalism, creating an atmosphere of restrained sophistication.
Each room is designed to tell its own story. The study combines functionality with classical symmetry, while the living room plays with reflections and light, creating depth and rhythm through contrasting materials. The two bedroom versions interpret comfort in different ways — one softer and more romantic, the other expressive and architectural.
Although the project was not a full-scale implementation, it served as a conceptual framework, allowing the client to visualise the spirit of the space before moving forward with construction. It is a study in balance — between past and present, decoration and function, glamour and calm.
