In this 115 m² flat in Riga, we embraced natural wood as the main architectural element — replacing grey monotony with warmth and texture. The rich ceiling beam structure subtly divides the space into functional zones while creating visual continuity.
The client chose a palette dominated by wood in its truest form: warm tones, visible grain, material honesty. The wall panels are manufactured by Gustafs, a specialist in real wood surfaces, not veneers or imitational finishes.
Facing windows on both sides of the building allowed us to create distinct zones — a bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and a relaxation area — all within one flat. The result is a contemporary home where natural materials, thoughtful design and modern living co-exist effortlessly.
